Jauch Quartz GmbH has partnered with DigiKey, combining Jauch’s expertise in Lithium Batteries with DigiKey’s extensive distribution network. The DigiKey Marketplace will feature Jauch’s products, which will be shipped from Jauch’s headquarters in Villingen-Schwenningen, Germany, for the EU market and from its UK subsidiary Jauch Quartz UK in Frimley, England for the UK market.
Jauch’s battery range includes Lithium-Polymer, Lithium-Ion, Lithium Thionyl Chloride, and Lithium Manganese Dioxide. Nicholas Ribton, Managing Director of Jauch Quartz UK, highlights this partnership as a chance to boost brand awareness in Europe. Jauch’s German production meets UL standards, and their new test centre can certify batteries to standards like UL, PSE, KC, and CCC. Jauch’s team can now perform all necessary tests, including UN38.3 and IEC62133, in-house.
“DigiKey is very pleased to add Jauch’s wide variety of Lithium Batteries to the DigiKey Marketplace,” said Missy Hall, Vice President, New Market Development for DigiKey. “We are always thrilled to grow our Marketplace offerings and provide our European customers with even more reason to make DigiKey their first stop in the design process.”
