ENVIRONMENTAL & LABORATORY TEST CHAMBERS
Environmental & Technical Services Ltd (ETS) was established in 1983 to provide a comprehensive range of products and services to the environmental test industry. Recognising that a wide range of disciplines and experience would be required, ETS have assembled a team of highly trained and motivated people with all the necessary skills and knowledge to provide service such as:
Services , Maintenance & Calibration of all makes of environmental chambers
Custom made maintenance contracts to suit just your needs
Refurbishment of you existing equipment including controller refurbs
Availability of an extensive range of hire chambers
Second user chambers
New equipment from an extensive range of standard products Bespoke test equipment and much more.
Our resources and expertise enable us to supply high quality equipment ranging from simple benchtop chambers to major turnkey projects. ETS can produce equipment to customers’ exact requirements, from conception to completion; taking an active role in helping to ensure that the equipment proposed will not only meet the specification but be built to budget and delivered on time.
ETS are involved in all stages of design, manufacture, installation, commissioning, service, maintenance and calibration of standard and specialised climatic chamber projects and can draw on years of experience to offer cost effective solutions to any environmental test problem. We have helped companies in a wide range of industry sectors including aerospace, automotive, defence, telecommunications and electronics to realise their climatic test objectives.
ETS can offer two types of calibration:
1. Standard Calibration – traceable to national standards
2. UKAS Calibration – completed by our UKAS accredited calibration laboratory No. 9735 which has met the requirements of international standard ISO17025:2017, and as accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS).
Standard calibration will indicate temperature and humidity readings including the instability of the readings.
17025 UKAS accredited calibration will also include uncertainty of each measurement. Certificate and calibration label will carry the UKAS logo including the laboratory number.
Only approved UKAS engineers will undertake UKAS calibrations.
Temperature calibration in the range of -80°C to +150°C
Humidity calibration in the range of 20%rh to 95%rh
Two-point calibration (centre of chamber and control point) and multipoint calibration can be undertaken. Multipoint calibration is also known as temperature/humidity mapping involving nine sensors.
All readings are logged automatically, typically 100 readings at 10 second intervals to record the fluctuations within the chamber.
All calibration quotations by ETS will allow for five temperature setpoints and four humidity setpoints. Additional setpoints may be added but will incur extra cost.
For ovens, our calibrations will allow for 3 temperature setpoints.
Fridges and freezers will be calibrated indicating the maximum and minimum temperatures throughout the compartment over at least three cyclic periods. Reading are typically at 30 second intervals.
A calibration certificate and label will be issued on completion of the analysed results and if an agreed pass/fail criteria has been achieved.
N.B: Calibration is a measurement against a calibrated instrument traceable to National Standards as found, it does not include adjustment. Adjustment involves re-calibration after adjustment.
ETS can also undertake altitude calibration (pressure) but ETS cannot offer a UKAS calibration for this measurement.
All ETS test equipment calibration is UKAS accredited.
