Our Laser Cutting Service enables us to provide clients with a fast and efficient supply of highly accurate profiled parts, due to our continued investment in state-of-the-art fibre laser cutting machinery. Laser Cutting is a non-contact process which utilizes a laser to cut materials, resulting in high quality, dimensionally accurate cuts. The process works by directing the laser beam through a nozzle to the material
Our advanced software ‘nesting’ application optimises parts cut out of sheet material, so that scrap is minimised, enabling us to offer significant cost-savings to our clients.
Our team of dedicated professionals work with customers on both, small prototype jobs, and larger batch productions.
We operate a Bystronic ByCut Star 3015 6KW Fibre Laser. This allows us to profile a variety of sheet metal materials, in an array of thicknesses and sizes. Our Fibre Laser can process sheets up to a maximum of 3000 x 1500mm, with a maximum work weight of 1550KG.
Our system is fully automated, and loading is made easy by our Bystronic ByTrans Auto Loader. Investment in this system allows batch sheet cutting, helping to reduce customers costs, and reduce lead times. To view our maximum thicknesses, please see the included information. The Fibre Laser cutting service is offered either on a sub-contracted basis, or as part of a complete end-to-end fabrication process. Either way, we can make any sheet metal or plate-based component for you from a variety of materials.
