Filtermist oil mist filters are compact, lightweight and can be mounted in a variety of ways offering flexibility to customers. The design is based around a perforated drum with specially designed veins that rotate to draw oil mist into the filter unit at high velocity. Special drum pads assist the coalescing process and filter out stray solid particles.
Centrifugal force pushes oil to the outer case, where it drains back to the machine for reuse or collection, before returning the clean air to the workshop through the top of the unit. Fitted with motors between 0.18kW and 2.2kW, our oil mist filter units are low energy users keeping running costs at a minimum.
For applications that generate smoke or sub-micron particles, afterfilters can be easily retrofitted to the Filtermist unit, using clips to hold it in place over the exhaust end. This combination offers up to 99.95% filtration efficiency.
