The HSE describe the Lifting Equipment Thorough Examination process as “a systematic and detailed examination of the equipment and safety-critical parts, carried out at specified intervals by a competent person.”
Prior to first use, every new crane system we install is thoroughly examined in accordance with LOLER and certificates are issued on completion of those installations.
After this point it becomes the owners’ obligation to have the crane system re-examined every 12 months. Who better than the original equipment manufacturer to undertake your LOLER examinations to keep your crane systems safe and legislation-compliant each year?
ABUS are also competent to examine existing cranes and lifting equipment of other manufacture.
